| another boring day in the life of marine . . . wait that doesnt make sense . . . a marines day is never boring! . . . except for this day. the only shots fired around here today were on the playstation that Hunt got . . . rich bastard . . . anyways only 2 weeks untill im outa this shithole! ive been told that they wont keep me here any longer so that means that i will definatly be home on friday april 7th . . . mark your calendars. im gonna fly into GR to see some friends then im gonna start trying to find a job and start my civilian life! o i am not really looking forward to looking for a job .... but o well at least i wont be getting shot at. ok im done

| ok sorry its been so long since i have talked to anyone my unit moved out of "The Palace" a lil while ago. We are now stationed just outside falujah .... i think thats how its spelled .... w/e so yea sorry about making anyone worried. ok im done bye |

| i really think im ready to leave this fucking country
i was on patrol with my fireteam yesterday and out of no where the fucking street opens fire on us and this new guy (it was his first patrol) named steve takes a bullet right at the base of the neck and he goes down then an rpg explodes about ten feet behind our truck and i catch a shitload of shrapnel in my left arm and leg then our squad leader gets hit in the shoulder and goes down so by the time we take cover and then start to return fire the bastards are gone and weve got nothing to take our anger out on and thats prolly y im ranting on this stupid computer. counting the new guy, steve johnston, thats 6 killed so far this month, theres not much of "the originals" the original 32 is down to 4; pete, nic, dan and me ............ which one of us is next

i think i just really need to do something destructive, or go on a really dangerous mission maybe some spec. ops. stuff i got an offer to join Recon which would be really cool but it would mean that i would go to germany for training and then to afghanistan for a year or so ...... ive always wanted to be in Recon tho
